AAW is very excited to highlight some of our female athletes! The girls volleyball team had a very successful season winning their district, runner-up in regions and made it all the way to sub-state! The girl’s soccer team has won the district championship, region championship and won their substate match which will send them to the state tournament this week!

Both teams deserve more recognition and especially our kids deserve it!!

We want to start with our seniors first. Lilly has been the setter for the volleyball team for 4 years. She was named to the All-Blount County Tournament Team and All-District team this year.

Sydney has been the libero for the volleyball team for 4 years. She was named to the All-District and All-Region team. Sydney plans to continue her volleyball career after high school!

Ainsley played as an outside and middle hitter this season. She was on the All-District and All-Region team. She only played with the Lady T’s her senior year, but added so much value to the team in just one year!

Jordy has played as an outside hitter for 3 years while also playing as a back row defensive player and server. She unfortunately had to miss her senior season due to an injury, but is always the best teammate and most supportive friend throughout it all!

Our last senior volleyball player is India! She has played for 3 years and has played every front row position along with stepping in as a back row passer and server.

Now to introduce our lone Sophomore, Dylan! She is an outside hitter and plays all the way around as a back row passer and server. We are excited to continue watching Dylan continue to play volleyball and softball for the next 2 years!

Peyton is our single senior soccer player. She plays fullback on defense and has been a starter for 4 years. She is so much fun to watch!

Anna Kate, mostly known as AK, is a freshman and new to AAW! She is a starter and plays forward/striker on offense. We are excited to watch her dominate in track too!

WE ARE SO PROUD OF EACH OF THESE YOUNG LADIES AND FEEL HONORED TO HAVE THEM REPRESENT OUR AAW FAMILY! GO LADY T’S!!
